SD JCI Senate Nominating Steps

Criteria for Senatorship - 5 years membership in good standing in the Jaycees (includes years served in the Jaycee alumni program.)

The application can be copied and can be front and back.

Send the completed application and 3 checks made out to:
(Yes! 3 separate checks are needed)
$300 to the Junior Chamber International
$75 to the US Junior Chamber
$35 to the SD JCI Senate (covers their first years dues and frame for the certificate.)

Mail application and checks to:

Marsha Dahl will do all of the remaining steps:

filling in the back bottom half of the application with her name and address to have the Senatorship returned to her (for framing and other preparation work)
reviewing the information
mailing it to the USJC office in Tulsa.
calling the appropriate people at the USJC office in Tulsa and JCI in St. Louis
framing the certificate and creating their letter of welcome, so the Senatorship is ready to be presented at the next South Dakota Jaycee meeting.
Please note that Senatorships are usually presented as a surprise, so some stealth may be necessary to keep the recipient in the dark!
If you need some creative ideas for getting a long-time member to come to a state convention for the presentation, just ask any Senator!
